CSL Australia is currently looking for a permanent full-time Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) to join our cement carrier, Goliath, on a roster schedule of 6 weeks on and 6 weeks off. This operation is based in the Bass Strait. The ETO is responsible for managing and maintaining all cargo handling systems, including maintenance of the vessel's electrical and electronic equipment.
In addition, the ETO will be responsible for:
Conducting tests of electrical systems, preparing charts and tabulations, and assisting in estimating costs in support of the Chief Engineer.Maintaining the vessel's electrical and electronic equipment.Assisting during maintenance as required over and above electrical equipment maintenance.First-level maintenance of communications, radio, and navigation equipment.Providing support for safe and efficient running of electrical equipment during cargo operations.About you: Minimum 6 months sea time as an Electro-Technical Officer.Hold an AMSA or Maritime NZ Electro-Technical Officer Certificate of Competency.Currently holding unlimited Australian Working rights or New Zealand citizenship.MSIC Card (required or ability to obtain).Located in either Australia or New Zealand.If this sounds like the role for you, we would love to hear from you!
