This position is residential in Mount Isa and requires you to work a 4 on, 4 off, 4 on, 2 off day shift only roster, providing grounds for an excellent work-life balance. The hoisting team manage Hoists otherwise referred to as mine winders which transport people and material to and from the underground environment.The successful candidate will be responsible for:Electrical and instrument inspectionsPreventative maintenance and repairs, as well as installations to support the hoistsFault finding and trouble-shooting electrical issues and breakdownsHV and LV motors, variable speed drives, soft starters, PLC and conveyor systemsABB systemsSupporting improvement projects that aim to reduce unplanned stoppagesMaintaining and improving OH&S and overall operational standards in the workplaceManage and maintain professional relationships with clients, staff & managementYou will have the following skillset and attributes:A valid electrical work licence in Australia or New ZealandComply with company policies and proceduresDemonstrated ability to work well in a team environmentValue continuous improvement, exceptional communication skills and work within a team with a strong focus on safetyFor further information, please contact: Jo-Mari Botha, Recruitment Advisor on or email Applications Close: 08:00 am, Tuesday 3 December 2024#J-18808-Ljbffr
