About the Roles Local A-Grade Electricians invited to apply with multiple opportunities available - no wind experience necessary.
Reporting directly to the Lead Technician, you will be part of the core team of service technicians who will ensure that operations and maintenance work is executed safely, to a high standard and with minimal downtime. The Service Technician's responsibilities are commissioning, fault clearance as well as maintenance of the wind turbines. The roles are based on site full time at the Mortlake Windfarm in Southwest Victoria.
Responsibilities Analyse defects with phone-contact to service coordinatorAutonomous simple repairs of turbines, troubleshooting and fault-findingCarry out complex repair processes in collaboration with the Lead TechnicianWith subcontractors, carry out planned maintenance / inspection activities of turbines for compliance with technical specifications and regulationsCollecting data and performing testsFill in reports and checklists in order to completely inform Local Operation ManagerInform customer in case of works on the turbineCarry out repair or exchange of main componentsCheck inventory of spare parts stock and be responsible for material on siteStandard monitoring of booked service reports and steering of service process to book expenses correctlyGuarantee that tasks are realized with high quality and on timeRealization of tasks in the most economical wayResponsible for material, tools and propertyCarry out tasks in accordance with manuals and regulationsKeep all H&S related instructions and guidelines and work safety for material and personnel.
