About the Role: This is a key trades position within the maintenance team at Virginia Arnott's, responsible for executing a wide range of electrical tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment.
The role involves performing both preventative and breakdown maintenance on machinery, troubleshooting high-speed manufacturing equipment, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety systems.
Additionally, the position requires accurate documentation of all maintenance activities, including the entry of corrective work into the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
As a key contributor to the maintenance department, you will play a vital role in driving and achieving the department's Key Performance Indicator (KPI) goals.

What your day looks like: Prioritise safety and quality in all maintenance tasks, adhering to OH&S and GMP standards.
Respond to equipment breakdowns, troubleshoot and repair high-speed manufacturing machinery.
Perform scheduled maintenance and diagnose issues using PLC programs to ensure plant and equipment function properly.
Support operational teams with technical expertise to minimize downtime and optimize plant performance.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, process improvements, and special projects as required.
Complete shift handovers, ensure job safety analysis for non-routine tasks, and report safety incidents in MYOSH.
The Ingredients for Success: Extensive experience in maintenance activities and safe work practices.
The ability to work from 06:00 – 13:30 Friday- Monday.
Proficient in SAP functions and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Experience in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Recognised Electrical Trade Qualification with knowledge of site automation systems.
