If you have any questions or would like guidance on the recruitment process, please contact the SESLHD Aboriginal Employment Team via email.Demonstrated electrical experience in maintenance of large building complexes and facility maintenance, preferably hospitals, and proven ability to work and cooperate with a multidisciplinary team of trade, non-trade, and contract staff to efficiently deliver maintenance services in a busy work environment.Demonstrated knowledge and experience of emergency generators and their associated switching systems, electrical systems including nurse call and C-bus lighting or capability to learn, mandatory testing such as electrical safety tagging, generators, and residual current devices.Able to demonstrate good organisational and time management skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision while following safe work practices.Proven skills in fault finding and problem solving, including the ability to interpret building and services plans.Electrical trade qualification and knowledge and application of relevant Australian Standards and Codes of Practice.Sound written and verbal communication skills. Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and work order systems.
