Mount Isa Mines are currently seeking a qualified Electrician to join the Fixed Plant Maintenance team at George Fisher Mine for the Hoisting and Shafts team reporting to the hoisting supervisor.

The Role
You will be required to work on a variety of equipment, with an opportunity to develop your technical skills and industry knowledge within the mining sector. This position is residential in Mount Isa and requires you to work a 4 on, 4 off, 4 on, 2 off day shift only roster, providing grounds for an excellent work-life balance.
The hoisting team manages Hoists, otherwise referred to as mine winders, which transport people and material to and from the underground environment.
