About the Position We are currently seeking applications for Electricians to join our team at Proserpine Mill.
We have openings for both Shift and Day Work positions.
These are permanent roles, with the successful candidates responsible for maintaining and ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems.
The Shift position involves working shift work during the production season and day work during the maintenance season.
In contrast, the Day Work position entails working during standard day hours.
This is a permanent position, with some overtime and weekend work required.
Main duties include but are not limited to: Installation, calibration and maintenance of electrical equipment Examine, diagnose and modify systems comprising inter-connected circuits.
Maintain department plans, databases and other documentation Commissioning and tuning of electrical systems Fault finding of complex electrical control systems involving some combination of pneumatic, electronic, microprocessor based and/or mechanical subsystems.
Lead and participate in special projects as required Essential Criteria: A current Queensland Electrical Work Licence to perform work of Electrical Mechanic and Electrical Fitter / Instrumentation Post trade experience in heavy industry electrical or instrumentation installation, commissioning and maintenance A strong commitment to safety with involvement in safety/improvement teams Current CPR & Low Voltage Rescue The reward At Wilmar, you will be part of a team that values you and what you have to offer.
