Electrician - Mt Isa

Local preferred but FIFO is available Excellent pay rate, various rosters to choose from NW Mining & Civil are seeking a highly experienced Electrician to join our client's Mt Isa team.
Reporting to the Electrical Manager, your role will primarily focus on carrying out statutory testing and fault finding work to a wide range of mining, industrial and commercial electrical equipment throughout NW QLD.
A portion of the work will be mine site based, so applicants do need to be able to pass a mine medical. Some of that mine site work is in a lead stream environment meaning there is a requirement to be clean shaven for those tasks/shifts.
Much of this work will be autonomous and requires a high degree of electrical knowledge and skill, so applicants must have proven experience in a similar role and the ability to be able to work alone and build strong relationships with clients and customers.
Local Mt Isa applicants are preferred but flights are available from Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns. Pay rate is from $60/hr flat rate, roster options available include Mon-Fri (local) or 2/1, 2/2 or 3/2 (FIFO). Shifts are 12 hours.
