EIF Industries is a well-established company founded in 2016. We are a unique business with a team of electricians and mechanical tradespeople providing electrical and mechanical support to our customers.
We are looking for an electrical leading hand who wants to relocate to Port Pirie for this role, or someone who is in the area to join our team. This will be a hybrid role of on the tools and office duties. Rosters will be 5/4 and 5/2. We are based north of Adelaide in Gawler with a small team south of Adelaide. EIF Industries has now opened a division in the Upper Spence Gulf/Mid-North area, with a workshop location in Port Pirie.

Undertake electrical installation/projects Lead a small team of electricians and other trades Electrical servicing Be flexible and undertake a wide range of work Provide electrical coverage for our clients on varying shifts (Dayshift, afternoon shift, and some nightshift) Provide electrical breakdown support Work within a team environment Have a can-do attitude and passion for the industry Company Work vehicle (Fully Maintained Vehicle with Fuel Card) Uniform Smartphone Laptop Power tools provided Hand tools provided Additional training - (PLC training basic and intermediate training might be offered to the right candidate) RDO's 1 day off a month Skills and experience Electrical A-Class license Driver's License Strong focus on safety Self-motivated Proven experience in electrical installation, fault finding, and maintenance activities Experience in fault finding complex electrical systems and equipment Able to read and interpret electrical drawings for fault finding tasks Interest in working on and troubleshooting PLC and instrumentation systems - we will help you develop Great communication skills with peers and clients Understanding of mechanical systems Experience with network and communication protocols (Not Required) Instrumentation & Control Cert 3 or Cert 4 (Not Required) - Apprenticeship might be offered to the right candidate. EEHA (Not Required) Open Registration License - with appropriate endorsements (Not Required) During the interview process, you will be asked a series of questions regarding your trade knowledge and experience. You may also be asked to perform practical tests.
