Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems. They must have the ability to read technical drawings and blueprints, troubleshoot problems, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain electrical systems in buildings and construction projects
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints to plan layout of electrical systems
- Inspect and test electrical systems for functionality
- Collaborate with other tradespersons on project requirements
- Comply with safety regulations at all times
- Ensure safe working conditions for self and others on site
- Troubleshoot any electrical problems that may arise during installation or maintenance
- Provide cost estimates for projects as needed
- Document and maintain accurate records of all electrical work performed
Qualifications:
- Physical ability to work in tight spaces and at heights as required by job duties
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities when faced with complex issues
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local safety codes related to electrical work
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately
- Proven experience in electrical installation, repair, and maintenance within the construction industry
-Certification or licensure as an electrician.
