With continual growth and diversification, we are currently seeking an Electrician to join our team in Dampier; this role is residential.
This role reports to the slipway Electrical Supervisor and is responsible for the delivery of production and project scope. The core responsibility of this role is to ensure all assigned core and project tasks are completed safely, to the agreed quality and technical standards.
Key Accountabilities:
Support the Supervisor to conduct risk assessments prior to production work commencement in accordance with Birdon's Safe Work Management System, documenting control measures in a task risk assessment.
Brief team members on the HSEQ actions and processes required to complete assigned tasks.
Comply with all safety processes.
Set up the job site safely and maintain housekeeping requirements.
Ensure safety records, Permits, SWMS, and Take 5's are completed.
Authorise Permits to Work.
Train and develop apprentices.
Essential:
Trade qualified Electrician.
WA electrical license.
Minimum experience of 3 years.
Australian citizens or permanent residents.
National police certificate.
Pre-employment medical.
Comfortable working independently with the ability to operate and report remotely.
Basic understanding of MS Office.
Strong safety experience.
