Now, we're looking for passionate, skilled Electricians to join our team in Townsville, Queensland. This is your chance to be a key part of our world-class Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team at a state-of-the-art solar farm. About the Role: As an O&M Electrician with Solarig, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our solar farm. Location: Townsville, QueenslandSchedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM (38 hours per week)Key Responsibilities:
Perform any electrical and communications intervention and/or corrective action and advance preventive activitiesSupervision, planning and coordination of the maintenance tasksSupervision of the operation of the plantWork requests completion and reportingComply and adhere to all work, health, safety and environmental policies and proceduresEnvironmental worksReport any incidentResponsible for carrying out electrical and communication worksCleaning and inspection of the asset and infrastructuresUtilize CMMS and manage, complete work ordersResponsible for the scheduled maintenanceParticipate On-call rosterWhat We're Looking For: We're seeking a reliable, safety-focused Electrical Tradesperson who can take initiative and work both independently and as part of a team. You should have:
Unrestricted Class Electrical License (QLD) (Required)High Voltage Switching Qualification (Required)Work safely in the construction industry Card (Required)Low Voltage Rescue Training (Required)CPR Training (Required)A valid Driver's LicenseAdditionally, you must be:
