Our client is an established Renewable Energy business, operating globally with a strong foothold in the Australian Solar market.

They are looking for an Electrician to join their team in Regional NSW on a permanent basis. The role offers great flexibility and opportunities for growth, and involves a number of Solar O&M contracts.

Duties and Responsibilities

Executes periodic and spontaneous maintenance and service work at PV installations. Typical tasks include, but are not limited to:

Execute works in accordance with the preventive maintenance program.All works on site issued by Site Manager (or Solar Asset Manager), which can include:Replacement of key components, such as modules & inverters.Cleaning of modules, inverters, or associated electrical components.Configuration of datalogger and communication equipment.Civil works (where required).Promptly identify, locate, and respond to all fault situations.Execution of failure correction, advised by Site Manager (or Solar Asset Manager).Execution of repair works (which may be with assistance/supervision of Subcontractor).Execution of project works (which may be with assistance/supervision of Subcontractor).Immediate documentation of each site visit with agreed templates or reporting structure.Immediate documentation of each PPM with agreed template.Carry out Due Diligence site and paperwork inspections.Execute repairs, rectification, or retro-fittings at PV Plant after authority from the Site Manager/Solar Asset Manager.
The work assignment is placed by the Site Manager/Solar Asset Manager and/or, if necessary, by the Project Managers.

Documentation Complete documentation of all works.Daily time tracking of each working hour allocated to sites or projects (by using a time tracking system).Full documentation of all performed work in his working area, especially with regard to Reporting and Accounting (Billing).Use the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) as required by the Solar Asset Manager. Additional Orders Independent determination of necessary and appropriate additional work and retro-fittings for PV installations.Interface with and manage subcontractors and other workers on site. Interface function / Direct reporting lines Continuous reporting to Site Manager or Solar Asset Manager on the latest status (work scheduling etc.). The Right Candidate A valid Driver's Licence.Relevant Safety Certifications – White card.Valid Electrical licence.WHS reporting experience.
