Electrician

Privately owned company providing comprehensive high & low voltage electrical maintenance, repairs and construction to the Mt Isa region.
We are looking for Electricians that have experience working in the Mining Industry. Successful applicants will be working in all aspects of HV & LV on mining sites in and around Mt Isa as well as the Industrial & Rural Sectors.
This is NOT a FIFO position Responsibilities: Install HV and LV cables, cable tray installation, breakdown and maintenance tasks Install underground conduits Fault finding, repairs and preventative maintenance LV and HV electrical work wiring up substations and transformers Learn HV Terminations Basic electrical maintenance Requirements: To succeed in this role, you will require a strong work ethic, proactive attitude, be very reliable, able to work well within a team environment, produce a high standard of work and a safe attitude towards all tasks, as well as possess:
Shift electrical or maintenance experience Australian recognised Electrical Trade Qualification and Licence Construction Induction Card (White Card) Current Manual Drivers licence A good working knowledge of current electrical standards and safety regulations The ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol test and participate in random testing The ability to work 12hr shifts and overtime when required For further information please contact: Mark Thompson on 0427432***
