Electrician

Privately owned company providing comprehensive high & low voltage electrical maintenance, repairs and construction to the Mt Isa region.
We are looking for Electricians that have experience working in the Mining Industry.
Successful applicants will be working in all aspects of HV & LV on mining sites in and around Mt Isa as well as the Industrial & Rural Sectors.
This is NOT a FIFO position Responsibilities:Install HV and LV cables, cable tray installation, breakdown and maintenance tasksInstall underground conduitsFault finding, repairs and preventative maintenanceLV and HV electrical work wiring up substations and transformersLearn HV TerminationsBasic electrical maintenanceRequirements:To succeed in this role, you will require a strong work ethic, proactive attitude, be very reliable, able to work well within a team environment, produce a high standard of work and a safe attitude towards all tasks, as well as possess:
Shift electrical or maintenance experienceAustralian recognised Electrical Trade Qualification and LicenceConstruction Induction Card (White Card)Current Manual Drivers licenceA good working knowledge of current electrical standards and safety regulationsThe ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol test and participate in random testingThe ability to work 12hr shifts and overtime when requiredFor further information please contact: Mark Thompson on 0427432***
