Our site Maintenance team based in Geelong is on the lookout for an experienced Electrical Tradesperson. We are open to commercial electricians looking to move into an industrial tradesman position.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
Complete assigned repair and preventative maintenance work orders in a safe, timely and professional mannerUndertake fault finding and troubleshooting of electrical, electronics, instrumentation and communication equipmentMaintain all work areas in a safe and tidy state.Fully support front-line problem-solving investigations and initiativesThere are 2 positions available for this role. One of them would be afternoon shift from 4 pm to midnight, the other would be night shift from midnight to 8 am.
About your experienceWe are looking for someone with proven ability to work within an onsite maintenance team delivering successful outcomes around equipment reliability and continuous improvement plans. The ideal candidate possesses hands on experience in a role working with PLC's.
We are looking to speak to candidates with:
Electrical Trade qualification and currently hold electrical A grade licenseUnderstanding of PLC programming and fault findingExperience troubleshooting electrical breakdowns and determining root causes in a heavy industry manufacturing environment Ability to apply sound judgement and manage competing deadlinesExcellent communication skills and computer aptitudePost trade accreditation (Cert IV) is highly regardedEWP – advantageousAbout our team At InfraBuild we are building futures through sustainable steel.
