Electrician

LEAP is a Defence project for the supply and operation of living-in accommodation for single members of the Australian Defence Force. Our team provides essential facility management services across these sites. The work that you do plays a critical part in keeping our Australian Defence Force safe and comfortable.
The Position Based in Darwin, and reporting to the Regional Manager; We are looking for an experienced Electrician, to work across 2 sites in our Defence Portfolio.
This role is ideally suited to someone Darwin based, looking for long term project security, with a global organisation. With a Monday to Friday, 38-hour work week, you will receive an attractive salary package, and an annual allowance as compensation for your role as the Electrical Nominee. Vehicle, phone and laptop is also provided. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following;
Electrical Nominee for the Northern TerritoryPlanned and Reactive Maintenance of Electrical Assets across sitesFire System Repairs and Maintenance (including Honeywell Systems: Training provided)Participating in driving regular and sustainable improvement in our safety performanceFostering a high-performance culture through continuous improvement and innovationThe Person Trade Qualified, with maintenance experiencePrevious experience in facilities maintenance, and the ability to work autonomouslyDemonstrable understanding of applicable standards, and legislationDriver's License and Australian Citizenship is mandatoryMedical (Functional with Drug and Alcohol test) and National Police Clearance will be required for the successful candidateThe Benefits As a Team Member with Compass Group, you will have the support, infrastructure, systems and processes you would expect from a global organisation.
