Your future roleWe have an exciting opportunity available for an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our growing Parts and Overhauls team. Working within this close-knit team, you will support the maintenance, repairs and overhauls of Train and Tram Fleets from across Australia. This is a permanent role, based in Ballarat and working a 36 hour work week across 4 days (Tuesday to Friday).
We'll look to you for:Performing equipment repairs and overhauls.Troubleshooting, functional testing and commissioning of rail equipment.Performing self-inspection of railway car components in order to identify defects and ensure quality.Working closely with support functions to identify and propose suggestions for continuous improvement.Organising work instruction documents, tools and railway car parts daily.All about youWe value passion and attitude over experience.
