This role will predominately complete Telecommunications and Electrical Projects, including power, lighting, and communications cabling.
The duties include, but are not limited to: Ability to install communications systems effectively.
Strong electrical background with commercial office and industrial experience.
Understanding of lighting systems and emergency egress lighting.
Installation, testing and commissioning of fibre optic and copper infrastructure preferred.
Contribute to a safe working environment.
Maintaining a high level of workmanship on the worksite.
Can work well in a highly established team of technicians and apprentices.
Job Description Working alongside accomplished technicians, you'll play a pivotal role in mentoring and training apprentices, fostering their hands-on development.
Your strong communication skills will be invaluable as you liaise with clients and collaborate within our fast-paced, growing environment.
About You You will: Hold your A Grade Electrical Licence and have your ACMA Licence with endorsements of Structured and Fibre Optics with several years of industry experience; WHS White Card; Have several years of industry experience within the electrical and communications industry , specifically working within data centres and completing commercial fit-outs ; Ability to perform electrical maintenance in commercial and industrial.
Are a team player who has a can-do attitude; Have excellent safety awareness and meticulous attention to detail to maintain a high standard of workmanship.
Be willing to be a part of an on-call roster.
Hold or be eligible to obtain your baseline/NV1 security clearance.
Excel in both collaborative team environments and in working independently.
Showcase proactive problem-solving skills, exceptional attention to detail and always have focus on health, safety, environment and quality.
