As part of our growth and expansion, we are seeking talented and experienced A Grade Electricians with a passion for renewable energy to join our team.Job Description:As an Employee at GENSO, you will play a vital role in the installation and maintenance of solar PV systems, battery systems, and standalone systems.
Your expertise as an A Grade Electrician will be essential in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of renewable energy systems.
This is a full-time role with the opportunity to work on installations in various locations, including regional areas of Northern Territory.Key Responsibilities:Solar PV Installation: Perform the installation of solar PV panels, inverters, and associated electrical components following industry best practices and safety guidelines.Battery System Integration: Integrate battery storage solutions into solar installations, ensuring optimal energy storage and management.Standalone System Setup: Set up and configure standalone renewable energy systems, including off-grid solutions when required.Electrical Expertise: Utilise your A Grade Electrical Licence and/or CEC Installer accreditation to ensure compliance with electrical codes and regulations.Working at Heights: Safely work at heights while installing solar panels and related equipment, following safety protocols and procedures.Safety Compliance: Maintain a strong commitment to safety by adhering to industry safety standards and protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).White Card: Possess a valid White Card, demonstrating awareness of general construction site safety.Elevated Work Platform (EWP): Operate an EWP when required to access elevated areas for installation purposes.Qualifications and Requirements:A Grade Electrical Licence.Working at heights certification.Valid White Card.Experience operating an Elevated Work Platform (EWP).Strong electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Willingness to travel to various installation sites across Darwin and regional Northern Territory.What We Offer:CEC Accreditation training.Competitive salary commensurate with experience.Opportunity to work with cutting-edge renewable energy technologies.Full-time employment with long-term growth potential.Supportive and collaborative team environment.Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.Contribution to a sustainable future through renewable energy solutions.If you are a skilled A Grade Electrician with a passion for renewable energy and a commitment to quality work, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
