This role is part of a maintenance team covering 24-hour operations, 5 days a week, with additional support for weekend production as requiredFlexile afternoon or night shifts available - any times between 3pm - 6amYour key responsibilities will be to:Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal operation.Maintain electrical controls of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, conveying and optical sorting systems, and Site services including, compressors, chillers, boilers.Drive continuous improvement of maintenance processes to support operational goals.Install new electrical systems and equipment as requiredPerform fault finding and troubleshooting on a range of specialized equipment, including PLC logic, SCADA, and IO troubleshooting.Perform Root Cause Analysis on all critical failures of plant and ensure action items derived are implemented and sustainedEnsure all equipment complies with Australian Safety Standards and Safety Control Logic.Your skills and experienceTo be successful in this role, you'll have:5-10 years in a similar positionPrior experience in latest technology and automation within a manufacturing environmentGeneral electrical troubleshooting, maintenance & repairs on manufacturing production linesProven ability to problem solve for emergency maintenance and repair Solid understanding of PLC logic, SCADA, Siemens Safety control logic, and Australian Safety Standards.Understanding and working with Safety Systems and Standards, Omron, PIlzA team player with a positive, self-motivated and proactive attitude is essential.Able to read and understand ELD's and P&ID'sStock control of relevant electrical spare partsQualificationsRelevant trade qualification as an A Class Electrician.Certification in electrical safety and compliance with Australian standards.Additional certifications in PLC programming and SCADA systems are advantageous#J-18808-Ljbffr
