Position OverviewARA Electrical is seeking an experienced Industrial Hazardous Area Electrician to perform service and installation work in the Port Botany Area 2036. This role is ideally suited to someone from a heavy industry background with experience troubleshooting automated equipment.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities:Field service and breakdown support for a range of customers over varying industriesPreventative and corrective maintenanceInstall & maintain electrical cabling & equipmentFault find electrical faults on electric motors, variable speed drives & electrical control equipmentExperience and Skills:Be a Trade Certified and Licenced Electrician.Cert III Instrumentation (not essential)Cert IV in Hazardous areasNSW Drivers LicenceMaintenance experience in a process plantExcellent knowledge of current Australian StandardsSound understanding of SCADA and PLC systems and associated ancillary software.Proven ability to troubleshoot and fault find in various circuits i.e. Motor circuits, motor controllers and instrumentsStrong background in industrial automation and control systemsGood communication skillsA strong commitment to safety and a safe working environmentDedicated to customer satisfactionSelf-motivated with the ability to work unsupervisedAbility and desire to participate in a rotating after-hours on-call rosterMotivated with an excellent work ethic and attention to detailJob Benefits and Perks:Remuneration as per NEW service EBAA supportive team with a great opportunity for growth and a safe, friendly work environmentOpportunity to advance your careerAvailability for overtimeImmediate startCompany uniform suppliedFurther training to service the specialised industries we cater forFlexible RDOsCompany vehicle, tablet and phone suppliedApplication Questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?Do you have a current Australian driver's licence?Do you hold a current electrical licence? #J-18808-Ljbffr
