Our Opportunity
Work Location: Fortescue's Iron Bridge project is located on the traditional lands of the Nyamal people.
Roster: 7D7N14X – FIFO Perth or DIDO Port Hedland (Wednesdays)
Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing quality and timely preventative maintenance and repairs of the Ore Processing Facility in alignment with FMG specific procedures and WHS regulations.
This shall also include team involvement with shutdown execution, continuous improvement, apprentice mentoring and providing any assistance on upcoming projects.
Key Responsibilities
Scoping continuous improvement opportunities
Raising notifications and work orders using SAP / FIORI
Conducting preventative and corrective maintenance on fixed plant machinery and equipment
Modular and shutdown maintenance
Statutory testing and inspections ensuring that all documentation and logbook entries are accurately completed
Qualifications and Experience
Electrical Trade Qualification
Current WA 'A' class Electrical Workers Licence
High Voltage ticket and experience with HV Switching highly regarded
Previous experience as an Electrical Tradesperson or Electrical / Instrumentation Technician in a continuous operating plant environment (2 years preferred maintenance)
Experience in PLC systems and control communication systems
Basic instrumentation experience
Experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of Variable Speed Drives
Competent understanding of electrical schematics, isolation and permitting systems
