Electrician Entry - Ore Processing Facility

Location: Solomon
Fortescue's Solomon mine is located on the traditional lands of the Eastern Guruma and Yindjibarndi peoples.
Roster: 7 days on, 7 nights on, 14 days off - FIFO from Perth
Fortescue are presently looking for qualified Electricians to join our OPF team at Solomon mine site. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow within a high-performance team at our state-of-the-art iron ore processing facility.
Key Responsibilities

Identify and scope continuous improvement opportunities
Raise notifications and work orders as required
Perform breakdown and fault-finding on fixed plant equipment
Conduct preventative and modular maintenance on fixed plant machinery
Participate in statutory testing and inspections to ensure compliance and safety.

Qualifications and Experience

Electrical trade qualification
Valid WA 'A' class electrical worker's license
High voltage certification and HV switching experience are highly desirable but not mandatory
Prior experience as an electrical tradesperson, including new to industry team members
Basic understanding of electrical fundamentals, with a proactive approach to learning
Proficient with computers and maintenance management software.
