With a strong project pipeline in EVCI and BESS, we are looking to expand our team with a new Electrical Technician.Role SummaryThe Electrical Technician will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and installation of our end-to-end asset management solution across our clients' extensive network of energy infrastructure, including EV charging stations and BESS infrastructure. This role requires adherence to clients' service level agreements, industry standards, OEM technical guidance, WHSE regulations, budgets, and project timelines. The Electrical Technician will ensure that maintenance and service objectives are clearly understood and executed to a high standard within defined timeframes and budgets, while prioritising health, safety, and wellbeing. The role requires travel to Energy Infrastructure sites across different states.ResponsibilitiesPerform servicing, planned and unplanned preventive maintenance and troubleshoot breakdowns on Energy Infrastructure including EV charging and BESS infrastructure.Utilise your expertise in hardware fault finding and data management.Carry out commissioning activities across our project portfolio.Install and maintain EV charging infrastructure across various national locations (residential, commercial, public).Collaborate with our engineering and project team to design efficient charging solutions.Modify and update wiring diagrams, and project documentation ensuring accurate documentation.Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.Collaboration, communication and supervision with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.Contribute to a safe work environment by adhering to WH&S, Environment, and Quality Systems.Participate in Detlevs continuous improvement culture.Experience RequiredAustralian Electrical Trade Certificate.Certification in Commissioning / Instrumentation/ Control Systems (highly desirable).LVR / CPR Certification.Construction White Card.Minimum of 5 years as a Qualified Electrician /Instrumentation/Commissioning Technician.Full Australian Working Rights.Ability to pass full pre-employment medical / drug and alcohol tests.Commissioning experience well regarded.Strong technical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues.Experience managing staff members and contractors.Willing to work on a wide range of tasks involving on and off-site work and often irregular hours.Experience in electrical estimating would be well regarded.At least five years of experience in the mining, oil and gas, renewable energy sectors.
