About the role We're excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Electrician to join our dynamic team in a full-time, permanent position at our Heathwood depot. This role provides a supportive, collaborative environment where your expertise will truly make an impact.
Key Responsibilities include: Nominated Electrical Tradesperson on risk assessment and available and active in on-site supervision. The Electrical supervision may span across multiple crews on an individual project or on an individual stage of a subdivision.Where excavation for conduit installation is in the vicinity of live underground cables, direct supervision by Electrical Tradesperson is required.Electrical Tradesperson required on site and directly supervising/assisting for the duration of the installation of electrical conduits and cables.Effective operation of plant and equipment associated with the above duties, including maintenance and reporting any defects or necessary repairs.Assist with faults and investigations, and writing or assisting with the preparation of reports following faults investigations.Completing all of the above to correct industry standards with observance to the Safety Act, PSSR Guidelines, Network Installation Regulations, and OH&S guidelines.About You We are looking for someone who brings a combination of technical expertise and a collaborative approach to their work. If you have previous experience in a similar role in the construction and maintenance industry, we want to hear from you.
Proficient in reading and interpreting schematic diagrams, with a strong understanding of electrical systems.Experience working with substations, switching, primary & secondary AC systems, protection circuits, and related technologies.Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with team members and stakeholders at all levels.Hold a Queensland Electrical Licence and an Active Driver's Licence (MR/HR is desirable).White/Blue Card (OHS construction induction card), and ideally, a High-Risk Work Licence - EWP Ticket.Our people are our energy source, and we offer meaningful benefits and rewards that work for you.
