Job Tasks and ResponsibilitiesIn this exciting period of growth, a number of opportunities exist at Moolarben Coal Operations to join our Underground team as an Electrical Tradesman. Reporting to the Shift Area Leader (Undermanager), your responsibilities will include:
To supervise the installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of electrical plant and installations at the mine.Monitor electrical equipment to ensure it remains in a fit for purpose and safe condition.Operate machinery as part of a multi-skilled workforce.Skills and ExperienceUnderground Coal Mining experience or Relevant Heavy Industry plant experience.Electrical Supervisors LicenseA professional work ethic and the ability to strive for continuous improvement.The ability to work effectively as part of a team.Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.Experience with promoting a positive safety culture within the mine.Sound planning, organisation and problem-solving skills.EEHA TrainingHigh Voltage TrainingWe offer competitive remuneration packages for our roles.
