Lynas Rare Earths has a great opportunity for an Electrical Technician to join our team at the Kalgoorlie Rare Earth Processing Facility (REPF).
The Kalgoorlie REPF is a key strategic platform for critical mineral production, blending pyrometallurgical and hydrometallurgical process in an Australian first, mineral processing plant.

The Opportunity: We're looking for an experienced and safety-focused Electrical Technician to join us on our journey and expand their processing maintenance knowledge.
This Goldfields-residential role reports to the Electrical Supervisor, where construction of our new plant is majority complete and in final commissioning stages. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be directly involved in plant commissioning and supporting operational readiness as the plant takes shape. After commissioning, this role will then work on maintaining and optimising the plant to improve its performance.

Your responsibilities will include: Providing maintenance support across the operation Assisting in related plant commissioning Participate in developing maintenance strategies for new plant and equipment Ensure risks are identified, managed and a safe working environment is maintained Undertake projects to optimise plant performance Required skills and experience: Australian recognised Electrical Trade Certificate (Mandatory) Cert IV Instrumentation, or in progress of obtaining/willingness to obtain Prior experience in a mining, heavy industrial or chemical plant environment desirable Commissioning or Operational-Readiness experience beneficial Experience with Allen Bradley/Rockwell PLC's desirable Suitable soft skills with Pronto/SAP and Microsoft products Construction Industry Induction (White Card) Current High Risk Work License (WA) – DG, RB, WP, LF Must reside within the Goldfields region for our residential operation Unwavering approach to safety and value teamwork Strong time management and problem-solving skillsets Lynas Rare Earths was designed from the ground up as an ethical and environmentally responsible producer of Rare Earths, being one of the worlds largest and most significant producers of separated rare earth materials.
