Electrical Technical Advisor-14GL Primary Location WA-Perth - North-Beenyup WWTP Organization: Treatment and Resource Recovery • 17.5% Annual Leave Loading • 9-day fortnight work schedule (RDO) • $108,927 + Super (Co-Contribution scheme available) Permanent opportunity to join a supportive close-knit team in. Support the Advanced Water Reclamation Plant (AWRP) Team in the efficient delivery of Operations, and Maintenance services by reliability and engineering expertise and technical support. Based at the AWRP in Craigie (Australia's first full scale ground water recharge plant), this full-time role will provide a specialist electrical consultancy service in the areas of operations, maintenance, HV/LV Systems, instrumentation, communications, and SCADA type assets for the Plant. Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide reliability, engineering and technical expertise, advice, and support in asset maintenance reliability, significant asset related issues and incident management. Provide specialist technical advice and guidance on the analysis of faults, failures and sub-optimal performance of electrical assets and develop cost-effective remedial actions. Support in the review and delivery of routine maintenance in relation to electrical / instrumentation assets and their ability to comply with performance standards and requirements. Manage and conduct audits, technical report review, inspections, condition assessments and performance checks of electrical/instrumentation assets. Provide a centre of expertise for electrical plant repair, maintenance, and refurbishment. Identify significant asset failure events and assess risk of failures occurring using root cause analysis investigation processes and risk management frameworks. Ensure the integrity of asset data systems that relate to electrical assets. Assists with documentation, installation and commissioning of electrical project works to ensure compliance with specifications, contract documentation and specialised equipment manufacturer requirements. What we can offer you: $108,927 + 11% super remuneration. In addition to the base requirement, Water Corporation will make an additional 2% super contribution when you elect to salary sacrifice 2% of your salary to super. We are looking for the following skills and experience: Electrical Worker's Licence endorsed "Electrician's Licence." Considerable experience in the operations and maintenance of complex processing plants. Considerable knowledge in electrical installation, electrical testing, and commissioning Has asset system and data analysis skills, with the ability to provide technical reports. Demonstrated excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels both internally and externally. Demonstrated understanding of the legislative and regulatory constraints in the electrical industry and water industry Demonstrates computing skills and knowledge of engineering software applications and Microsoft suite of systems.
