Electrical Team Lead Salary: Circa 38k per annum

Location: Leeds

Metalis are currently working with a Leeds based client who design, manufacture and overhaul components for the rail industry.
Our client is now looking for an Electrical Team Lead to join the Electrical department on a temporary to permanent basis, which will result in permanent contracts for candidates who complete a successful probation period.

Job Role: Overseeing the Overhaul/Assembly of cables, harnesses and other products to the customers' requirements.Repair, Routine Maintenance and Overhaul of electrical assemblies used in the Rail industry.Crimping, measuring, and assembling of electrical harnesses/looms.Testing completed assemblies to ensure functionality and reliability.Recording and updating details of any work completed.Writing and implementing Work instructions/Overhaul procedures.Working to strict deadlines and time scales.Use of equipment including hand and power tools.Supervising a small team of electrical engineers/assemblers. Job Requirements: Experience in an electrical assembly role.Apprentice trained/qualified (Preferred but not essential).Understanding of engineering drawings.Experience with MK automated test unit (Preferred but not essential).
