Promising a long term and fulfilling future, join our esteemed technical team on the convenience of a 5/2 4/3 (10-hour days) roster.Here's what awaits you:Work closely with the Process Supervisor/s and Mechanical Supervisor/s to ensure the process plant and facilities available are such that the key resources and assets are effectively utilised and optimised. Manage electrical personnel to ensure the effective maintenance of plant and ancillaries so that business targets and goals are achieved to maximum effect.Ability to provide effective direction and advice to team members. Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Develop and coach all direct reports to promote employee development.Lead the team in the maintenance of a safe and productive work environment by ensuring the development and implementation of safe work practices/procedures that meet statutory and company OHS&E requirements. Ensure that all activities are carried out in an environmentally responsible manner.Display a clear commitment to safety and health and seek to eliminate or control the risks of injury and/or damage to equipment. Proactive involvement with continuous OHS improvement processes. Active participation in all communication and awareness systems.To thrive in this role, you'll need:Experience: Minimum 2 years leadership experience on a mine site. Strong leadership skills, including the ability to lead a team to achieve organisational goals. Sound understanding of Fixed Plant maintenance principles and their application in practice. Sound knowledge of operation of fixed processing plant equipment. Good level of knowledge in computer literacy, in particular Pronto and MS Office. Ability to plan and or anticipate likely scenarios as related to all key responsibility areas.Qualifications: Electrical Trade Qualification. Current Police Clearance. Frontline management or equivalent desirable.
