These are just a few words that describe you.About the roleReporting to the Construction Manager, the Electrical Supervisor is to deliver high quality project services to the client and provide supervision and coordination as directed by the Construction Manager / Project Manager and the client.You will obtain a complete understanding of the required contractual KPI's and obligations. Ensure safe and effective operation of the project through sound communication, promotion of safety and quality assurance, technical assistance, and sound business practices.Key responsibilities for the Electrical Supervisor include:Ensuring company compliance with Australian standards, industry guidelines, state/ local technical requirements, and safe working practices.Audit installation work for compliance with Australian standards and company quality expectations.Supervise the electrical construction of the project, primarily electrical components including any / all primary plant, switchboards, marshalling boards, LV, HV, DC and F/O cable installation.Coordinate (with other senior operations staff) the allocation and scheduling of electrical staff to projects and tasks.Electrical system fault finding and reporting.Ensure (and where appropriate improve the efficiency and quality of) end-to-end documentation and administration of each electrical system.Manage and lead system and incident investigations in collaboration with the business HSEQ Managers.What you will bring to the team:Qualified Electrician with 5+ years project site supervisory experienceRelevant industry experience within the HV transmission and distribution industryExperience working in large construction environments, particularly remote FIFO scenariosCurrent first aidElectrical Engineering qualifications/experienceTransgrid or other equivalent utilities experience desirableWe're building a diverse workforceElecnor Australia is committed to being an employer of choice.
