PHE have a new opportunity for an Electrical Supervisor with underground mining experience to join us on a project in South Australia.
You will assist the Superintendent and work with the team to make the project a success with your skills and experience. You will demonstrate proven experience in a similar role and have the ability to deliver the project on time, whilst maintaining the great reputation the company holds with the client.
There is a great remuneration package on offer and an opportunity to expand your career in the mining industry. This role is based on a 2 and 1 roster at a remote underground mine site. Flights, camp accommodation and meals are supplied.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Undertake project-specific tasks as appropriate and directed to you by the Superintendent. Leading a Team of Leading Hands and Electricians. Lead by example for all Safety on site. Report task status, including forecast outcomes with relation to time, cost, scope and quality, when required. Maintain records of work-in-progress and communications in line with the project management methodology. Participate in and inform project planning and auditing activities. ABOUT YOU:
You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:
Have a great attitude. Enjoy problem solving. Excellent Leadership in Safety. Minimum 3 years experience in a Supervisory role. Previous underground mining experience. Mining Supervisor (S123) desirable and not essential. Microsoft Office 365 applications including Teams, Excel. Experience in the use and interpretation of Project Scheduling software (MS Project or Primavera). Quality Management experience. Budget management experience. The successful candidate will have:
Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech. SA Electrical License. High-risk work License (with WP class) desirable, but not essential. Working at Heights (Completed in the last 16 months) desirable, but not essential. Current CPR/LVR (within the last 9 months). Current Unrestricted C Class Driver's License. White / Blue Construction Card. Please note all your tickets and licenses MUST be current to commence on-site and be employed by PHE.
