UGL Major Projects division is expecting significant growth for 2025 in Western Australia as we support large Building Services Projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for locals and those open to FIFO and DIDO roles.
Responsibilities: Supervise all site activities allocated to construction team members, ensuring safe working practices in accordance with client safety systems and processes.Plan & ensure environmental management of construction activities in accordance with client's environmental management systems and processes.Ensure team members complete allocated projects in accordance to specifications of the project.Plan all construction activities in consultation with the Project Engineer, including setting priorities and allocating available resources to ensure objectives and deadlines are met.Provide input into the estimate of 'costs of construction' for allocated projects in terms of labour, materials, and costs.Assist with the preparation of detailed Activity Method Statements (AMS's), Task Risk Assessments (TRAs), Project Work Notifications (PWNs), and Site Environmental Plans (SEPs) for works including ECRL possessions and pre-commissioning.Develop & deliver pre-start briefings/toolboxes.Undertake special tasks and investigations and make recommendations on matters as directed by management.About you At least 5 years' experience as an electrical supervisor in a construction-related environment.Electrical Trade Qualifications.Relevant Construction Card (e.g., White Card).Tickets and Licenses (e.g., First Aid, EWP, or Forklift).Experience working on large accommodation villages made up of modular buildings or similar types of projects.Demonstrated ability to work independently, organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines, and follow-through within a fast-paced environment.Strong communication skills (oral & written), including strong negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.Why Unite with the Very Best A competitive salary working in a rewarding, supportive, and successful team.Flexible and blended work environment; make use of leave, flexible working, and our 16 weeks paid primary parental leave options.Help create your Individual Development Plan and create significant opportunities for your professional development.A rewarding Wellness Program with AIA Vitality – earn cashback for gym shoes!Access to a multitude of rewards: discounts across shopping, food and wine, insurance, health and wellbeing, leisure and entertainment.Salary sacrifice options including cars, eligible portable electronic devices, and professional memberships. #J-18808-Ljbffr
