If so, this is your opportunity to live, work and play a short drive from stunning coastlines, scenic trails and the food and wine heartland of the west.Located in the picturesque south-west and Peel regions of Western Australia, South32 Worsley Alumina is on a journey to become the world's leading Alumina producer where our 1500 workforce value the lifestyle that Worsley Alumina has to offer.Our integrated Bauxite Mine, Alumina Refinery and Port Operation is creating the essential products needed for a sustainable low carbon future.WHAT SOUTH32 OFFERS26 weeks full-paid, or 52 weeks half-paid parental leave for primary carersThe opportunity to become a shareholder of South32 through our share plansOptions for additional superannuation contributionsAnnual short-term incentive bonus that recognises both your individual performance and the overall success of the businessABOUT THE ROLEThis role is a Permanent position on a 4:3 roster (Monday-Thursday), at our Worsley Alumina Refinery, which is a short drive from Collie (15 minutes), Bunbury (45 minutes) and other nearby scenic communities.As the Electrical Services Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, cost effective, and productive execution of maintenance and scheduled work activities to support the operations at Worsley Alumina Refinery.Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:Lead a team of maintenance electrical, instrument, HVAC, and lift technicians, along with a small projects teamEnsure electrical work is conducted safely by skilled electrical personnel in line with relevant standards, operating procedures, and legislative requirementsPromote safe outcomes through safety leadership, in-field coaching and application of procedures and policiesGuide and mentor individual team members to foster a high performing teamABOUT YOUYou will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:Supervisory experience in electrical maintenance within mining or heavy industryKnowledge of electrical maintenance for industrial equipment, including radiation devices, gas appliances, and safety systemsEffective communication and relationship-building across teams to minimise plant and production disruptionsDeveloping, coaching, and mentoring employees to enhance engagement, performance, efficiency, and safetyProficient in SAP and Microsoft OfficeQualifications for this position are:Trade Certificate as Electrician and WA unrestricted electrical licenseCurrently, or can be appointed, a statutory supervisor under Schedule 26South32 is committed to building and maintaining an inclusive and diverse workforce that reflects the communities in which we operate.
