Working in a small team in QLD, as the Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the electrical phase of the companies' major projects, leading the smooth and efficient delivery of multiple projects across QLD and Northern NSW. This will involve:
Reviewing requirements, installing and fitting off the electrical equipment, testing, commissioning of pump station systems or infrastructure relevant to specifications and regulations.Leading the electrical field team and managing the site inputs to ensure that the electrical phase of the projects are carried out according to design requirements, within budget, meet safety and compliance standards, and the scheduled time frames.Working closely with various parties including the National Construction Manager, procurement team, site construction and project management teams, Suppliers and Customers.The ideal candidate will demonstrate/possess:
Trade Qualifications (ie Qualified Electrician with A Grade Electrical Licence) OR Tertiary Qualifications in Electrical EngineeringExposure to instruments, instrument controls, and experience with switchboard designs and installations2 - 3+ years' experience working in the Industrial / Commercial Sector on projects in the water industry OR similar process industries."Hands on" experience in end-to-end electrical project engineering, managing multiple projects working with project delivery teams.Understanding of relevant codes/specificationsStrong organizational skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute - work collaboratively with multiple teams across multiple projects.Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.Strong attention to detail.IT literate ie Excel, Microsoft Project, or with scheduling/project management programs/toolsStrong practical problem-solving skills.Ability to use your initiative, be commercially savvy, practical and results-focused.Team player.
