Electrical Project Engineer Category 5 Labour Management are proud to partner with our leading Engineering client who specialise in heavy industry, infrastructure and Electrical Engineering project throughout Australia. Our client is currently seeking experienced Electrical Engineer's, for ongoing projects withing Gladstone Queensland. All roles are Full-Time Permanent positions, Monday to Friday. The Role – Electrical Project Engineer The Project Engineer is responsible for electrical power and control system design, planning and commissioning. The position's main focus is PCS, substation designs, earthing designs and protection designs. Role Duties include: Support the development of the engineering team with specialist skills to service the local heavy industry clients. Guiding and tutoring Graduate Engineers with project work, designs and technical issues. Review work completed by Graduate Engineers. The role will have a specific focus on continuous improvement of our services, bringing innovative solutions for reductions in cost, increases in productivity and improved quality.This position will be required to work closely with numerous internal and external stakeholders and will require site-based work on a range of client facilities.Duties and ResponsibilitiesHSEEnsure that CR personnel comply with all site safety and operational requirementsComply with, and maintain a proactive approach towards all Company Health, Safety and Environmental RequirementsComply with safety requirements relevant to the taskBe accountable for the overall safety performance of activities under your controlPromote incident prevention in workplaces and projects under your controlCooperate and have input to hazard identification and rectification in all areas of the facility and activities undertakenEnsure all potential environmental risks are identified, assessed, rated and mitigated, in line with CR policy and proceduresAssist with HSE system audits as requiredQualityComply with all Company policies and procedures and maintain a proactive approach towards qualityComply with quality requirements relevant to the taskEnsure corrective actions for non-conformances are actioned and captured appropriatelyCooperate and have input to the development and implementation of quality and safety work instructions for projectsAssist with quality system audits as requiredTechnicalDevelop strong understanding of CR core services by working closely with Technicians in the fieldWork within Contract Resources systems and proceduresProcedure reviews, updates and developmentResearch best practice methodologies and innovationsDevelop and implement document control systemsProvide technical mechanical supportAssist with estimating and schedulingMS Software (Word, Excel, Projects, Power Point etc.)Execute projects on client facilities as required during peak periods to develop site knowledge.
