As we move into a new and exciting stage in the Country Chef story, there's one ingredient we cannot do without … our fantastic people!About This OpportunityWe are looking for a Maintenance Technician with a strong understanding of automated control systems, who also understands the importance of food safety and quality. This role includes scheduled maintenance, unplanned maintenance, troubleshooting, and shift cover where required.Afternoon Shift - 2pm to 10pm *Penalty rates apply*Experience/Skills required:Previous experience in a high volume, automated food manufacturing environment, FMCG highly preferable.Knowledge of complex pneumatic systems, packaging machines, conveyors, ovens.Previous experience in project work desirable.Technical troubleshooting skills.Experience with the MEX system and/or other CMMS software.Valid and current C Class Drivers License.Be willing to undertake a pre-employment medical.Primary Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Development and monitoring of routine equipment maintenance with a strong emphasis on preventative maintenance.Fault finding, monitoring and maintenance of production equipment.Analysing records and identifying opportunities to improve maintenance programs.Adhering to all quality, food safety, WH&S and environment policies and procedures.Maintain accurate records in the MEX program.Weekday and weekend overtime as required.What you can expect:Full time permanent position with an established national business on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.Personal and professional growth and development.A day off on your birthday.Free parking.Product samples.Immediate start.This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Maintenance Technician to join a growing Australian owned company with a rich heritage in the food industry and an exciting roadmap for future growth.
