The Role An Electrical Leading Hand oversees and directs personnel of similar disciplines within a work area whilst remaining hands-on in their own discipline. They are responsible for the daily execution of project delivery activities onsite, such as installation, commissioning, and energization of our Stand-Alone Power Systems, while acting as a point of reference for managers and crew. This role offers a DIDO 8:6, with regional travel within Western Australia.
Key Responsibilities: Assigning general and daily duties to another employee on the site, ensuring that quality standards and safety precautions are followed and met. Training and coordinating staff as needed, ensuring that they have the resources they need to fulfil their job requirements. Completing electrical works. Planning and reviewing the overall status of projects on an ongoing basis. Supervising and managing the use and maintenance of tools, materials, and equipment. Coordinating the use of OHS policies, ensuring workplace compliance, and reporting hazards and near misses. Fostering a workforce culture of excellence, innovation, honesty, and teamwork. About You: Electrical Trade Qualifications. Exposure to renewable construction projects desirable. Strong leadership and communication skills. Solution-focused with an ability to problem-solve promptly. Excellent time management skills and confidence in dealing with a wide range of stakeholders. In-depth knowledge of HSE requirements.
