As the Electrical Lead, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility's electrical systems, working closely with the Maintenance Manager and other team members in a friendly, collaborative environment.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical networks and systems.Install, service, and repair wiring, conduits, fixtures, and electrical devices.Interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to ensure optimal functionality.Conduct electrical tests, inspections, and preventative maintenance.Supervise tradespeople and external contractors working on electrical projects.Ensure compliance with safety standards while maintaining a clean and organised workshop.Perform testing and tagging of equipment, install lighting, switches, and ensure systems are properly grounded.Identify and replace old wiring, maintain switchboards, and manage other electrical tasks as needed.What we are looking for:5+ years of electrician experience, ideally within a manufacturing setting.Current driver's licence and reliable transport.Strong commitment to safety and an ability to work independently.Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (written and spoken).Desirable (but not essential):Working at Heights certificate.Confined Space certificate.Elevated Work Platform (EWP) licence.What You'll Get:Competitive hourly rate.A stable, full-time role with daytime hours from Monday to Friday.Opportunities for professional development and career growth.A supportive team environment where your contributions are recognised and valued.Apply today and become a key part of our team at Essantis Smeaton!Ready to Apply?Click on the link below and send your resume and cover letter.
