As a team member at QAL, you will contribute to our Safe, Stable and Sustainable vision by:
Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with site health, environmental and community policies, systems and proceduresCompleting planned and breakdown maintenance on a wide range of Electrical and Instrumentation equipment (including high voltage repairs)Diagnosing and recommending repair methodsCompleting Hazardous Area and Gas System installation and maintenance workContinuously improving plant stability by identification and elimination of equipment failures and identifying improvements in planned preventative maintenance regimesAbout you To be successfully considered for this role, you should have:
Demonstrated ability to safely work as an individual and within a team environmentCurrent Queensland Electrical LicenceDemonstrated experience in fixed plant maintenanceCommitment to safety systems and participation in site safety programsAbility to make sound judgments to ensure plant integrity is maintained at all timesDemonstrated experience in planning and executing assigned tasksDemonstrated ability to function effectively as part of a team and to autonomously manage your workloadA commitment to continuous improvement by identifying process and cost saving initiativesWhat's on offer We know there are many aspects of our employees' lives that are important, and work is only one of these, so we offer benefits to enable your work to fit with your life.
