The PositionA unique opportunity now exists for a suitably qualified Electrical/Instrument Tradesperson to join this dynamic organisation.
The successful applicant must be a self-starter, motivated, have strong fault-finding skills, troubleshooting and problem-solving ability as well as possessing good communication, organisational and teamwork skills.
Applicants may be required to take part in abilities testing as part of the recruitment process.
The person we are seeking must possess the following:Trade experience in maintaining, installing and repairing a wide variety of electrical and instrumentation industrial equipment.Ability to carry out shift work.Proven safety record.Physically fit.Car, High risk, RB, LF and WP licenses.Maintenance Rigging Skills.Basic Welding skills.Previous experience in heavy industry.Being computer literate to be able to understand computerised Maintenance Management Systems.Experience with Type B gas work.Wages and conditions will be in accordance with the Opal Maryvale Mill Electrical & Plumbing Enterprise Agreement and will depend on the successful applicant's skills and qualifications.
