About the Role Competitive salary on offer plus 12% superannuation and a range of company benefits Live locally while you enjoy working in the resource sector Working a 5/2 roster (Monday - Friday) BHP Nickel West actively supports a diverse workforce and encourages Female and Indigenous applicants to apply As an Electrical & Instrument Technician in the fixed plant maintenance team at Kwinana, you'll be provided with the tools to work within a zero-harm safety culture.
With our support, you'll also ensure targeted plant and equipment availability.
You will report to the Electrical / Instrument Supervisor and on a daily basis your core duties will include:
Inspection, service and repair of plant and equipment; Test and calibrate instrumentation as required; Overhaul / assemble equipment in a workshop environment; Actively participate in safety initiatives and systems to ensure all work is carried out safely; Adhere to site housekeeping standards.
About You Electrical Trade Qualification WA Electrical License Previous experience in a similar position in the mining industry Cert IV in Instrumentation Valid WA Drivers License HV Switching Ticket High Risk Tickets EWP, Forklift (desirable) Radiation Safety Officer (desirable) Supervised Gas Fitter (desirable) About Our Process At BHP, we are committed to employing individuals who align with the BHP Charter Values and meet the requirements of the role.
