Electrical Hv Estimator

Our prominent electrical contracting client is now seeking another high voltage estimator to join their successful team. You will assist with estimating costs and resources needed for numerous projects involving high voltage electrical systems.
Your role will include: Project Assessment: Evaluating the scope and requirements of high voltage projects, such as power transmission lines, substations, estates or industrial electrical systems. Cost Estimation: Calculating the costs of materials, labour, equipment, and other resources required for each project. This requires some understanding of the Australian costs of high voltage components and systems. Technical Knowledge: Applying knowledge of electrical engineering principles, especially those related to HV systems, to ensure accurate and feasible estimations. Bid Preparation: Assist the Senior Estimator to prepare detailed and competitive bids for potential projects. This involves compiling all estimates and presenting them in a clear and professional manner. Collaboration: Working with engineers, project managers, clients and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and ensure that all aspects of the project are considered in the estimates. Documentation: Keeping detailed records of all estimates and assumptions made during the estimation process for future reference and accountability. Continuous Improvement: Staying updated with Australian industry standards, new technologies, and cost trends to improve the accuracy and efficiency of future estimates.
