Ergon Energy Network has a permanent opportunity for an Electrical Fitter Mechanic with experience in meter changes and service replacements to join our Customer Service team located in Toowoomba.

About the role: As an Electrical Fitter Mechanic in our Customer Service team you'll perform customer connections, undertake meter installations and upgrades, complete electrical shock investigations as well as supply and voltage problem investigations for both residential and business customers across our network.
Remuneration – From $108,859 up to $127,253 per annum + 14.75% superannuation. The level of payment will be subject to an assessment of the applicant's knowledge, skill and competencies required for the position.
About you: Queensland Electrical Licensing Board Certificate of Competency as an Electrical Fitter Mechanic. Experience in completing meter changes and service replacements. Availability for call out and emergency work. Willingness to travel to surrounding areas from time to time to undertake work. Current 'C' class open Driver's Licence. Desirable: Authorisation as a Meter Re-Connection Officer, and/or Authorisation as an Electrical Connection Officer, and/or Authorisation as an Advanced Connection Officer. Additionally, you will be required to complete a pre-employment medical as part of the selection process.
