A great opportunity for an Electrical Fitter to join our fully geared Defence Maintenance Contract team based at Bandiana, VIC.
As an Electrical Fitter, you will perform tasks associated with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and wiring in Defence vehicles, trailers, plant, and equipment. $42.87 an hour inclusive of allowancesWork 38 hours per week Monday to Friday and finish at 12 pm on FridaysTraining & Upskilling providedRelocation assistance for the right candidateWork on unique Defence vehicle and assets17.5% Annual Leave LoadingAll tools, PPE and Uniforms providedOn-site ParkingAbout the role Maintain, service, test, and repair field power generators and field power generation plant and equipmentMaintain, repair and service air conditioning systemsMaintain, service, test, and repair mobile refrigeration unitsWork with computer-controlled diagnostic and management systemsRefer to circuit diagrams and use meters and test instruments to find electrical faultsAdjust control systems and timing to ensure plant and equipment are running at peak performanceAbout you Certificate III in Electrical Fitting / ElectrotechnologyQLD Electrical License/tickets relevant to the roleYou must be an Australian Citizen and able to maintain a Defence Security ClearanceAbout Ventia
