We are looking for an experienced Electrical Fire Technician with Fire Alarm experience, working in Perth and surrounding areas, WA. The role will require you to be responsible for servicing fire alarm systems on-site, testing fire protection systems and equipment and/or programming fire panels and cabling. You will contribute by being organised, committed to customer service, and want to be part of a great team culture and working on these exciting and ongoing sites.
Snapshot of your day:
Surveying customer premises and recommending fire protection and safety systems and equipment, in accordance with procedures and processes.
Identify, test, service, repair fire protection, safety systems, and equipment.
Complete and provide evidence of maintenance performed on equipment in an accurate and legible manner, using systems including handheld technology.
Inspection, testing, and maintenance of fixed fire systems including fire indicator panels.
Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships.
Determining job priorities and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
Maintaining industry knowledge and monitoring market developments, keeping up to date with the latest changes and advances in fire technology and relevant Australian Standards.
Report works progress and performance by completing productivity and reports.
Commitment to the highest standards of business code of conduct, aligned with expectations on ethical behaviour according to company values.
Complying with company and client HSEQ policies, ethics, and procedures.
About you:
Experienced Fire Technician, with sound knowledge of the applicable Australian Standards relevant to Fixed Systems fire protection equipment.
Electrical 'A' Grade licence and EHAL are advantageous.
Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme (FPAS) accreditation and Cabling licence are preferred, but not mandatory.
Unrestricted work rights and Current Driver's licence.
Construction industry white card (or the ability to obtain one).
Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a team.
Strong prioritising skills and meeting deadlines.
Superb attitude and willingness to deliver for the customer and team.
