The role: We are seeking an experienced Electrician to work within our Fixed Facilities team, based in Newcastle NSW. This role will predominantly involve testing, repairing, and installing emergency light systems and electrical fire detection systems, along with conducting essential fire safety routine servicing for our customers throughout the greater Newcastle area.
To be considered for this role you will: Have an electrical trade qualification and NSW electrical contractor's licence - Desirable Have a sound understanding of AS1851 and AS1670 and relevant Australian standards and building codes Hold a current manual driver's licence Demonstrate a positive/energetic attitude Be solution-based and have the ability to propose solutions to customers for issues Be an all-rounder and have a flexible "can-do" attitude Have electrical fire safety experience – Desirable, not essential Have knowledge of simPRO – Desirable, not essential What's in it for you?
