Providing electrical solutions from design to installation and maintenance, they specialise in major commercial projects in the construction, mining, infrastructure and engineering sectors. With their Victorian operations expanding, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to join the team.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience in estimating electrical systems for large-scale projects. You will play a crucial role in the pre-construction phase, ensuring accurate cost assessments and contributing to the overall success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical projects, including materials, labour, and overhead.Review and analyse project plans, specifications, and proposals to determine scope and requirements.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to gather necessary information for estimates.Assess project conditions and gather data for accurate estimations.Maintain and update estimating databases and cost libraries to reflect current market trends.Participate in value engineering and alternative design discussions to optimize project costs.Prepare and present detailed estimates, bid proposals, and budgets to management and clients.Stay informed about industry trends, codes, and regulations affecting electrical estimating.Qualifications: Bachelor degree or trade qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years experience in electrical estimating, particularly for major projects.Proficiency in estimating software and tools (Simpro, Procore preferred)Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards.Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.What We Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional growth and development.A supportive and dynamic work environment.Involvement in exciting and diverse major projects.How to Apply: If you are a motivated Electrical Estimator with a passion for delivering quality work, we would love to hear from you!
