With branches in Wangaratta and Yarrawonga, we are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team..

Responsibilities: Analyse project documentation, including tender documents, drawings, specifications, and contracts, to determine project requirements and scope.

Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for electrical projects, including labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.

Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to develop project proposals and budgets.

Conduct site visits and assessments to gather information for estimating purposes.

Review and analyse project risks and opportunities, proposing alternative solutions when necessary.

Prepare and present estimates to clients, addressing any queries or concerns.

Participate in project meetings to provide input on cost control, value engineering, and cost-saving strategies.

Requirements: Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator in the industrial or commercial construction industry.
(Preferred but not essential)
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and materials.

Proficient in using estimating software and tools.

Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with a keen attention to detail.

Solid understanding of construction documents, drawings, and specifications.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.

Proven track record of successfully estimating and managing projects within budget.

Electrical trade background or relevant technical qualifications preferred.

Valid electrical license/certification is a plus.
